Welcome to my site, I’m happy to have you here! I’m Jo and I’ve been an avid traveler since I first left the United States at the age of 19. Fun fact, my first trip outside the United States was to study abroad in Nepal. I arrived back to the US with a determination to see, taste, and experience everything this world has to offer and to learn as much as I can while I’m blessed with this wonderful life.
My goal with Tasting The Town is to aide fellow travelers make the most of their time on their journey’s. I focus on food while travelling because I really like good food (it can make or break a trip for me), and because it’s a fun way to connect with other people. By exploring local cuisines and culinary experiences, I want to create a site where we can all celebrate delicious flavors and connect as friends.
